Annual Adopt-A-Family Giveback Event Spreads Joy to Families

As the festive season unfolds, Legacy Restoration joyfully concludes its most expansive Adopt-A-Family giveback event to date. With the recent establishment of our new office in Omaha and the addition of charitable partners in three of our markets, we covered more ground than ever before, extending our reach to seven cities across five states and impacting the lives of over 250 people. 

A Gift-Giving Tradition 

At Legacy, we understand the importance of community and the spirit of generosity. Our Adopt-A-Family program was a cherished annual initiative where every team member receives $125 to shop for an individual wishlist. Our focus was on children and teens in foster care, families in need, and patients and families facing challenging healthcare situations. 

The wishlists varied, encompassing everything from household necessities to children’s books, games, dolls, toy cars, sporting goods, clothing, and shoes. It was a diverse array that reflected the unique needs and desires of those we aimed to assist. 

Spreading Joy, One Gift at a Time 

After the shopping spree, each office came together for a heartwarming wrapping or packing party. With supplies and treats provided, we collectively packaged all the thoughtful gifts from our team members. The gifts were wrapped, labeled, and carefully prepared for delivery. 

Our longstanding relationship with Volunteers of America in MN, CO, and IL continued to flourish, and we were excited to continue supporting Blank Children’s Hospital in Des Moines. Additionally, this year marked the introduction of partnerships with Child Advocacy programs in St. Cloud, Rochester, and Omaha, such as Central MN Child Advocacy Center and Project Harmony. 

Fostering a Sense of Community 

The Adopt-A-Family event was a highlight for our staff across the country, fostering a sense of community and shared purpose. We express our deepest gratitude to all our charitable partners for their collaboration in making this event a resounding success. As we wrap up another year of giving, we eagerly anticipate carrying on this heartwarming tradition for years to come.
