Recently, our Omaha team took time out of their busy schedules and had the privilege of participating in an inspiring project that truly warms the heart – assembling Sweet Cases for children in-need. A project made possible by one of our charitable partners, Foster Love.
What Are Sweet Cases?
Sweet Cases are more than just bags; they are bundles of hope and comfort for children navigating the challenges of foster care and other similarly difficult situations. These cases are thoughtfully packed with essential items like dental hygiene supplies. But what sets them apart is the extra touch of love and care – each case contains comforting items like blankets and teddy bears, as well as engaging activities like coloring books and crayons.
Crafting One-of-a-Kind Bags
What makes these Sweet Cases even more special is that each one is hand-decorated by our dedicated Legacy team members. These unique, personalized designs turn each bag into a treasure chest of memories and a source of comfort for each child who receives them. It’s a way for us to show these deserving kids that they are a valued and loved part of our community.
Giving Locally, Impacting Powerfully
Our Omaha team’s efforts didn’t stop at creating these wonderful Sweet Cases. We wanted to ensure that they reached children who needed them the most. That’s why we partnered with Project Harmony, a local organization dedicated to building a safe and promising future for children. Project Harmony’s mission is ending the cycle of child abuse and providing support services to prevent further victimization – something that resonates deeply with us at Legacy Restoration.
