Hurricane Ian has been a historically catastrophic event for Florida and has devastated families and communities across the state. Many individuals within our roofing industry and the Legacy family, including Janney Roofing, have been impacted by the storm. So, in an effort to assist with disaster relief, Legacy Restoration hosted a company match fundraiser through the American Red Cross.
Our team was able to make donations to the Red Cross over the last week and Legacy committed to matching 100% of all the generous donations made!
Through the generosity of our growing team across the country, we were able to raise $13,623. Including our company match, our grand total came to $27,246! We are so proud to have a team that views giving back not as a special occasion but as a way of being. Being an active and supportive community member is an important part of what it means to be part of the Legacy Restoration team!
YOU CAN HELP
1. Donating to the American Red Cross of Central Florida allows teams to prepare for, respond to and help people recover from natural disasters. Teams are providing evacuation shelters, emergency care, food and other urgent supplies to impacted Floridians.
To help those affected by Hurricane Ian, visit redcross.org, call 1-800-RED-CROSS, or text ‘IAN’ to 90999 to make a $10 donation.
​2. Donate to the Florida Disaster Fund. These funds are distributed to FL organizations that will serve individuals within their communities with Hurricane Ian disaster response and recovery.
