Roof Deployment Project 2017

Legacy Restoration LLC is proud to partner with Owens Corning Roofing & Asphalt this week to donate a full roof replacement to a Glencoe, MN, resident and widow of a United States Army veteran through the Roof Deployment Project. This nationwide effort is a way to show gratitude and honor veterans and their families. Darlene could not be more deserving – her story has forever stolen a piece of our hearts here at Legacy. We’re thankful for community partners like Habitat for Humanity International (Habitat for Humanity of MinnesotaCrow River Habitat for Humanity, Inc.), 4-Square Builders and the McLeod County Veteran Services for allowing us to share in the opportunity to restore the home which has remained in Darlene’s family for 90 years. A united community has the collective ability to do such much good!

“We are extremely grateful to be able to partner with Owens Corning and Habitat for Humanity for this Roof Deployment Project in Glencoe,” said Scott Mullins, Owner, Legacy Restoration. A core value of Legacy Restoration has always been to give back to the communities that we serve, so it’s an honor for us to be able to continue to strengthen this core value through these strong partnerships.”

“Helping others build and sustain their legacy both as a business practice and through charitable work, has been a centerpiece of Legacy Restoration from day one,” added Brookley Wofford Topel, Marketing & Public Relations Manager, Legacy Restoration. “Having a safe and sound place to call home goes much deeper than providing shelter – the notion of home breathes hope and stability. Restoring Darlene’s childhood home, which she shared with her late husband who bravely served our country, is a reminder of what home truly means and that as a united community we have the power to do so much.”
