In the spirit of giving back, Legacy Restoration once again teamed up with Volunteers of America (VOA) for our annual donation to JT’s Bikes for Kids. This year, the event reached new heights as we were able to select and donate an impressive 31 sets of bikes, helmets, and lock sets to children in the community.
Fostering a Sense of Ownership
These bikes aren’t just a mode of transportation; they represent a sense of ownership for these kids. Having something of their own instills pride and joy, allowing them to actively engage with their friends and surroundings.
Team Bonding and Community Engagement
Our team kicked off the day with a delightful breakfast, fostering team bonding and camaraderie. Energized and motivated, we headed to Walmart to carefully select the bikes, ensuring that each one would bring a smile to a child’s face.
Loaded up in our Legacy trucks, we made our way to Volunteers of America to hand over the bikes for distribution. The excitement and anticipation of the children receiving these gifts were palpable, making the entire experience incredibly rewarding for our team.
